• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The plastic panel on my wife's 2013 STS came loose and it rubbed on the road and tore it up pretty bad. I have what is left tie wrapped up. I know a lot of people take them off when they change their oil and put them on the shelf. My wife wants hers fixed. I tried to talk her into just removing it but no luck. She likes things the way they were made. If someone had one that they would like to get rid of it sure would get me some needed ataboys. Thanks in advance.

Little checking..

I would just order a new one from cheapcycleparts.com and replace it. Few, if any, methods of repairs on plastics don't work well. Seems every time a glue comes out to fix plastics they change the compounds so they won't work on the new stuff...:banghead::banghead:

Take a picture of what you need. I have 6 belly pans on the shelf; I don't remember what they came off of. I do know that they are better on the shelf. If I have a match, it's yours. Joe

For some reason it won't let me quote. Sorry for all the post. To be clear it is the 61 on the right looking at the diagram and on the left when sitting on the Spyder. It is the larger 61 Thanks:banghead:

Panel

I think I have one left over from my ST-S. I'll check after work and if I still have it, I'll send it to you for a small shipping charge.

For some reason it will not let me quote. Don't care how much text I put in it says I have to have at least two words! But yes the panel on the left sitting on Spyder:banghead:

If you take those underbelly panels off your Spyder will run cooler. Engine compartment temps are greatly reduced. Less heat on the fuel tank will also lower the fuel temperature and create less vapors. And you'll bet less heat coming up around the seat. There really isn't any down side to leaving them off. Also makes routine maintenance much easier.
