• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Can anyone help, on my 2014 RT standard 1330 there are only 2 switches on the panel under the handlebar, the parking brake and heated grips, but inside the panel are 2 spare connectors, one with 4 wires and one with 7 wires, ready to be connected to switches for optional extras

The red and black wires measure 11.55 volts when the key is on rising to 13.5volts when the engine is running. The 11.55volts remains after key is turned off until display screen goes off, the other 2 measure nothing. This would be convenient to connect to an accessory I'm fitting but I'm worried that it could damage somthing as it only reads 11.55 volts when the battery reads 12.5volts. Is this the connector for the suspension pump on other models or is it the other 7 wire connector. The accessory works when connected briefly to the red and black wires of the 4 pin connector, I only require 1.5 amps maximum.
The wiring diagram I have is so poor it tells me nothing. I suppose I could pull the fuses one at a time to see which circuit it's on but that a lot of work if someone knows the answer.

One is for the rear shock adjustment switch, and the other is for the fog lights.

(Both are standard, at least on the 2015 RT-S.) . The center switch is not installed, and has a blank.

Note, that all are for switches, not necessarily power sources.

The four wire one is for fog lights. On both the orange/red wire is 12 volt on a 10 amp fuse that is used to power the indicator lights in the switches. On the fog light switch the light green/gray is fed from the load shedding relay and is the power supply for the fog lights you don't have. You could use if for a small load that wouldn't be more than what the fog lights would be. On the 2013 base RT I had I bought a switch and put it in there and then connected add on fog lights to the fog light connectors near where the factory fog lights would go.

Don't mess with the other switch. One of its wires goes to the cluster and if you screw it up you might damage the cluster. That would be a many hundreds of dollars mistake.

Thank you very much for your reply, it is most helpful and the answer I was hoping for, I want to use it for my windscreen wiper and washer that I fitted a few weeks ago, the wiper motor is about 1amp and the washer motor is about 1/2 an amp, I think I will use the 12 volt just to power a relay about 1/10th of an amp, that way nothing can be overloaded.
