• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ultimate heated passenger backrest - where does it plug in? Anyone have one? How well does it work?

Hello, I just purchased a 2015 Spyder RT SM6. First bike with 3 wheels. Looking at a heated Ultimate seat, saw they have a heated passenger backrest also. I saw videos on how and where to plug in the rider and passenger seat, but where would you plug in the passenger backrest? And if anyone has one, how well does it work? Thanks

Did you find the installation instructions for the passenger backrest, or contact the manufacturer for the instructions?

Hey Steve. Keep in mind that you have a 2015. Please ensure that the videos that you are watching pertain to a 2015. I don't believe that there was a factory heated seat option for the 2015. Instead, what you see being "plugged in" is the pillion seat sensor, not power to the heated seat. Below is a link to the install instructions. You'll need to run a wire from your Right Side fuse box back to the seat. According to the instructions, the heated passenger backrest plugs into a pigtail on the seat. The seat contains the switches. I have the heated seat on the 2023. So, I CAN tell you that it is plenty warm You may actually find that you turn it off after a period of time.
