There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

There is no pat answer in my opinion. I would have to examine each carefully and also their maintenance records (presuming they exist) before making a decision. The two RTs have the 998cc twin which you may or may not prefer. Don't know much about the F3 so someone else will have to chime in.
We have a pair of RTs - a 2015 RT-S with the 1330cc triple and a 2012 RT Limited with the 998cc twin, and we like them both. We bought the 2015 with 436 miles on the odometer and the 2012 with over 28,000 miles. The 2012 was VERY well cared for and maintained while the 2015 was virtually showroom new. Both have performed flawlessly for us. Don't know if any of this helps or not, but an educated decision is usually a pretty good decision. So, good luck!

My best guess is somewhere between 5-10K per year for a spyder that is actually being used. Of course, there are garage queens and other exceptions (Ann)..... I routinely ride 10K each year and have been doing that on 2 and 3 wheels for over most of the last 25+ years..... Jim

Probably anywhere from 500 to 100,000 miles! :roflblack: As Arion says, there is no pat answer. But you should consider the mileage per year on average rather than total mileage. A Spyder ridden 2000 miles per year is likely to give you fewer problems than one ridden 200 miles per year. Any machine that is not used will deteriorate more than if it is run. Parts like hoses and seals can dry out if not kept wet with oil or fuel or coolant. We expect Spyders to go for 100,000 miles or more so one would have to have an awful lot of miles on it before mileage becomes a significant negative factor. In fact high mileage can be a positive. It'll push the price down but the bike will still give you many miles of smiles.

not unusual to find super low mileage examples out there. Even newer ones. Because senior's
situations change , and usually not in a "ryde more" way. Physical, mental, etc.

If that 15 has extended warranty I’d go for it! I sold my 14RT with 123,000 miles on it but it had 18 months of extended warranty remaining.

I bought my 2012 RT in 2015 with 8500 miles on it. The low mileage was due to the original owner being diagnosed with dementia and unable to ride any longer. I have put 44,000 miles on it since then.That amounts to about 9700 miles per year which I would think would be about average for a Spyder that is being ridden on a regular basis in areas with a prohibitive winter.

:agree: I agree with all of the above, and have also averaged between 8-10k per year on either 2 or 3 wheels. I have been riding for almost 13 years. For the past 3 years, I have owned a 2 & 3 wheeler, so the 10k miles is being split between the 2 vehicles.
