• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

have not done this before, so am wondering where to hook strap to back half of spydee. i now have a trailer large enough to haul her IF i need to mostly due to cold temps etc. i am making wheel choks for front so hope to not need to stap front. is the passenger foot peg bracket strong enough? thanks

Though the back wheel, not though the sprocket Also Careful of the air valve.
Complete instructions are in the manual that came with your Spyder,

The only thing I would be concerned is, when you hit a bump the shock will go up and down and your strap might come unhooked. I do not use wheel choks, I strap through the wheels and pull the front forward and the rear backwards. My Spyder does not move when I do it this way. My Spyder is a trailer Queen and that is how she likes it. Do you see the Rings in front of my tires ?

:agree:
And as was mentioned eagle, don't go through the rear sprocket.
I wouldn't leave those front wheels unattached.
One other thing I would add would be to use very soft straps through the wheels, or add a plush wash cloth between the strap and the wheel to avoid scuffing by the nylon strap.

Better Safe than Sorry!

Not to mention that you got the 14 foot version so you could have a microwave. What a wuss! :joke:

Don't forget a fridge, 50 amps electric, 12 gallon hot water tank, and a double sink for doing dishes !!! :roflblack::roflblack:
Just so we don't get off topic, The other d-ring is in front of the cabinet for the rear tire. :bbq:Spyder Hauler 010.jpg

I can attest to the strap causing scuffing. Found that out unfortunately.:opps:

:agree: READ THE MANUAL!! It'll save you tons of aggravation later... :gaah:

:agree: In the 2010 RT manual on page 106 and 107 It will also save you from having to repair something that broke from being used as an anchor point that should not have been used
