• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Two Questions

Installed new plugs and wires while doing oil change and maintance. Took the air box off to get to the front wire and plug. After installing both plugs and wires I started the spyder without putting the air box back on. wanted to make sure I had wires connected. ( I know not a smart thing to do )
Anyway got two codes. P0113 and P2228 or P222B I know what the 0113 is a disconnected sensor, the spyder is in pieces.
So 1st Question is anyone know what the P2228orB code is, ans 2nd if I disconnect the battery will i get rid of the codes. Thanks for any help...

P2228 = reporting module, ME17; Ambiant pressure sensor short to grd. Possible causes; damaged sensor, circuit wires, connector, ECM pins on connector. Ensure sensor is fully inserted(plugged in).

:agree: Unplug and re-plug everything so as to make sure that everything is nice and solid!
Doing it right the first time will only make the job go quicker!
Good Luck!

Thanks guy's I have the frunk completly off the spyder so there lies the problem. Easier to get to all the grease fittings and check the coolent hoses and all that is in the front. Thanks again
