• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. TWO MONTH REPORT

My 2012 Spyder RT Limited is 2 months old today. I have ridden 4233 miles. I have not seen an error code, limp mode, or any other problem. It has been smooth ryding (and this is just local). I am really looking forward to the upcoming longer Spyder trips. Just wanted to say that some Spyders do indeed seem to perform very well without discernible problems. I hope there really are as many positive Spyder experiences out there as I believe there to be.
P.S. I had only one problem in 21000 miles with my 2010 RTS so this isn't my first rodeo.

Mine is also 2 months old, 2200 miles, had one Limp mode screen, disappeared after several minutes, that is it. I have every option BRP offered including XM, CB, GPS, etc. all working perfectly. My fuel economy actually seems to be going up a little also, waiting for a few more fill ups and will report on that.

LOVE THE THREE WHEELS, SEMI AUTOMATIC, BRAKES, ETC.

Thanks for share'n your your good experiences

 Always Great to hear & glad your Enjoy'n the Ryde!

Thanks for sharing good reports with us.

I am thinking more and more that initial setup is very critical to our ryde. Mess that up, or let an mechanic that does not know what they are doing--= a receipe for problems.

I am going on 21K on my 2010 RTS and report the same. Except for two gas gauges and a wire that was shorting out.

GOOD NEWS

Although I rarely post, I read through here on a daily basis. I think it would be great for newbies, wannebes and even experienced ryders for people to share thier good stories as well as the bad. Anyone surfing through these forums would probably think everyone has problems... the good times don't seem to get written about enough!

I have to agree that the initial setup is probably very, very important. The mechanic at my dealer that installed my multitude of options was of Japanese decent and worked for Honda motorcycles in Japan for 20 years before coming to the US. He was not the quickest but was very meticulous and everything works.

I've had mine for two weeks....and have 250 miles on it...sorry, but felt like I had to join in!!!! so far, so good......getting lots of looks!!

Me too - 2500 miles on a 2011 RT and no problems. Trying to get close to 3000, I have an oil change appointment at Cow Town during Spyderfest!!

I guess I should join in.

I logged about ten thousand miles on my 2011 RT SM and they were mostly trouble free. A couple of problems tended to under warranty took the Spyder out of service for maybe five days.

My 2012 RT limited has about 1,000 miles on it now (in three weeks) and so far except for a wheel weight being off less than an ounce (less than an ounce will give you a bounce), everything is terrific.

My wife's 2012 RT limited now has over 4,000 trouble free miles on it. She also put about 16,000 miles on her 2010 RT SE with no problems.

These are great machines!!!!!

So ya'll think it might be WHERE it's made VS where it's put together. the later being the final problem/solving/ fix it right spot. like your car or truck... made in ST Louis or Frisco, or Janesville Wi kind of thing. Are spyders made ANYPLACE ELSE other than Canada?:dontknow::hun:
