• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Page 97 of owners book. You have a set screw in upper left corner. Unscrew it. Lens will fall out. Turn counterclockwise (bulb end).

Shop Manual

I have the 2010 rt.........not on that page
You're correct. It does not seem to be in the Owner's Manual. The Shop Manual on page 510 shows the procedure under the heading of Taillight/Brakelight replacement even though what they are showing is the turn signal bulb (the Tail/Brake lights are LED's and the entire unit must be replaced). Their procedure is to remove the "rear panel" which is the body-colored panel that runs up the side of the topcase and across the back of the bike around the latch for the top storage compartment and down the other side. Eight screws -- two accessed by opening the sidecase door and two by opening the top storage lid. Same for other side of the bike -- eight total. Remove the panel. Then reach in, unplug the connector, rotate the bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it, pull the bulb out of the socket. Reverse for assembly.

If you do it, could you post the SAE bulb designation you find on the bulb. I'd like to know what to have as a spare. Thanks.
