There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Nothing fixable inside. Need a new left handlebar command center assembly. They are different for different years. So I will guess that you mean that you have a 2011 and not a 201. You can buy a new one from a dealer for $159.99 and maybe a little less from one of the online discounters.
PS Make sure everything else works and no fuses are blown out first.

Seeing as you are going to junk the bad one, if it is the case :agree:, go ahead and open it up and see if you can find the problem. I have taken many (not spyders) apart and repaired them in the past but things are made to be disposable now. :banghead: If I had one I would look to see what can be done....
