• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Turn Signal/Running Light/Brake Light

I got one of the prototype kits from MagicMan to today and just got done installing it. There is lot to making this thing work with the Spyder, more so than any other bike I think but somehow Evan made the whole thing plug and play. He happened to call me right when I was shooting this video. This is a must have saftey feature in my eyes. :doorag:  :spyder:

seems to work pretty nicely. do the turn signals & brakelights flash when you put it in reverse?

Yes all the functions in reverse still work as normal.
It would not be much good if you lost one safety function to gain another.

i was asking if the brake lights also flash when in reverse?

No they don't they are the same as stock. I don't think you would see them ofer the LED's even if they did. :doorag:

The function is the same as a stock bike in reverse. The brake lights do not flash when in reverse on a stock bike, nor do they with the Tripple Play Unit in place. You would not want your brake lights flashing when in reverse, because how would someone know you were braking if they did.

My bike is on its way so I'm already picking up parts I would like to get. So how does one get a set up like this and what's the damage? :redfaced:

On a stock bike the directionals flash like hazard lights when in reverse.

Just another option out there if flashing lights are more your style. ALL options for increasing cagers seeing you is good.

That is correct, and the directionals flash when in reverse with the triple play unit as well. Just like a stock bike does.

There is a topic post on this site under "Club Booster care of Magic Man" that tells how to get one and the cost.
