• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I took my bike it for its 600 mile ( $ 400.00 oil change ) on sat.and they gave me a loaner that had a radio.
i liked it so much, when I got back to the dealership,I asked what it would cost to add a radio to my ST S? ONE THOUSAND BUCKS,REALLY!!!!!!!:yikes:
Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can do to get some tunes for my bike that will not require a mortgage ?

stereo mods. search the diy board and the my mods board. you can spend 100- 1000, or any point in between. i've got around 150 in mine and it sounds excellent.

BTW what do you have for 150.

If your handy I posted a DIY on custom speakers on my RS. I just got back from an 800 mile ride and they sounded great even at 80mph. I've got under $200 in the whole setup.

stereos

i have a pioneer head unit in the trunk, and four speakers on the dash. two memphis 5 1/4, and two 3 " dwg / shark generic. sounds great.
hchays speaker set up is a little more elegant than mine, but they both sound great. it's all in the diy section.

iPod Nano with bluetooth. Lots of tunes and am/fm capability. Pick up a Sena headset and for under $400 you're cruising to your own private soundtrack. Just a thought.

I dont know what extra parts youll need but on ebay a scrap yard has the radio module from an Rt for sale for around 150.00.

Or i have a scala rider Q3 headset with aux port for sale, 120.00.

Same thing here. The radio in my 2013 st-l works good, speakers are not so great. I use the Sena bluetooth helmet set up with my iPod. Love the set up. Wife rides with me, and she has the same. Sena's work great as intercom, blue tooth to the phone or your i pod or what ever. Ryde On!

Very interesting to hear. I use my iphone along with a bt in my headset. Use some streaming like Spotify and radio over 3G and music on the phone directly. The sad part is data coverage is bad outside of urban areas. I was contemplating a nano exclusively as a radio tuner but it's using the headphone wire as an antenna. How's fm reception with the nano directly to bt?

thanks
