Hey all

A lot of tuning and programmer talk recently and my question is this I have plans for my bike that is gonna require one. I called 2 brothers and they are not making one for the 2013 Spyder RSS and there is not a power commander offered for the 13 RSS either. If you have a ST or a RT they have one


Has anyone heard of anyone making one other then the 2 i listed
i spoke one of the people at 2 brothers and they were not 100% sure that the one for 2012 would not work and said if I wanted to order one and it didn't work I could return it.

My 2013 has 2 o2 sensors not sure what the 2012 has .

12' to 13' is totally different for the RS. Off the top of my head: DBW and 2 o2's vs. Cable and single o2. Your "likely" going to have better luck with one from a 13' ST as the components are the same.

Yeah the 12 looks like it has a single sensor

going with one from a ST would match up guess I need to see if the sensors and injectors are the same so they physically connect . And sad but they already said there not making one for the new 3 cylinder either

Looked up and the RSS and the ST injectors an o2 sensors are the same.

Cool! I'm pretty sure the 13' RS, ST, and RT all share the same drive train.
Nice easy way for BRP to control costs with the common platform.

I just called 2 Brothers and talked to a Patrick and he said they were told the RSS had something different in the engine design but again told me the same thing that if it didn't work I could return it

I would think I should be able to squeeze a map program out of it as long as it connects

well it's worth a try worst thing is it doesn't work and I gotta return it and not be able to do what I wanna do performance wise

Not the first time you've been told something won't work on your RS only to find out it does...

Yep my HID lights are a great example of that , BRP said the oem HID kit they offered for 12 model would not work on mine but with a slight mod to the 2 headlight jumper harness (2 $12 harness) they work perfectly and there is even mounting hole on top of the frame for the ballasts .

But yeah think the worst case I'll half to spend a little money to ship the kit back if it doesn't work. Worth a try like you said .

I guess I'll be the Guinne Pig for this too. With this cat by pass and the muffler and custom cold air intake idea I got in my head I'm gonna need more fuel
