• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Trunk opening question

Page 28 of the F3 Operator's Guide says "NOTE: It is possible to open the front storage compartment with the engine running."

This must be a typo, right? It would be handy to be able to do this, but I don't see how.

Push in on the ignition key, and turn in a counter-clockwise direction. The frunk will open, and the engine will continue to run. Of course, don't do this while going down the road.

Then, you can get off the :ani29: and get those pesky gloves you forgot in the frunk.

I didn't have to . . .

No doubt, I used to hate having to turn the engine off on my 2010 to open the lid.

. . . . after I installed handlebar risers on me GS, I found that if I pulled a little bit on the cable, my hood would pop open. Never had to shut down to get something out of the trunk after that.

I seem to remember Nancy'sToy posted a How-To on hooking up a cord to do the same.

good times, just like now.
