There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. TRUE STORRY spyder family ROADWARRIORS

First off this was a true honor to ride with the ROAD WARRIORS.

My wife Diane and myself joined the road warriors in Lime Rock CT on Saturday. We also met some great people who like us wanted to show support. We drove to Bear Mountain NY and were greeted by the mayor and a full bagpipe band. You should have seen the faces of the these men and woman when the band played the stars and stripes everyone stopped. My wife cried. We stayed and talked with them. Then it was time to go home. As we drove home we both said lets join them tomorrow of the next leg. The next day we were joined by a few of my friends on Harleys they also wanted to join the warriors. There had to be about 25 Plus Bikes.

Now here starts the story. Craig the director of the warriors does a morning briefing. He says lets keep the group tight in formation stay close. Staggered spacing. Keep up the speed no gaps for cars. OK. We all say yes. He comes to me and asks if I would led the group up to the top of Perkins Memorial Drive. It was a clear day and I had mentioned that you could see the NYC skyline from the top of the mountain. Are you kidding me if he had asked me to lead the way off the Bear Mountain Bridge I would have jumped right away. What an honor. Myself and (VADER) Andy led the way to the top. I also asked Rick Simpson to join us he said he would hold traffic for us on the turn. Thank you RICK. We stopped in formation taking up most of the parking spots. You should have seen the faces of the bikers and the other people when we pulled up. We went to the edge of the mountain for a look of NYC. The solders got pumped up and we all took pictures. Craig said lets head back and get on the road. He asked Andy and myself to lead them back down and get us out to RT 17 and if we could block the traffic as we entered the circle to merge onto Route 17 . We did. As the group passed the support trucks honked the horn to signal all clear. We followed along with Rick. Let me tell you as we rode down the ramp it felt like we got launched off an aircraft carrier. 75 mph in the left hand lane whoosh we are off. We are all concentrating on staying in formation. Andy, Rick and myself are bring up the rear. We are working together taking turns moving cars to let the pack stay together. We don't want the leader Craig to reprimand us. My turn in the in the back my wife says there is a NY State Trouper coming behind us. He is on my tail. I look down Holy Sh#! 84 MPH and the pack is still going. I'm done. He pulls up on my right-side looks at me? And then smiles and gives the thumbs up sign still at 80+ MPH he makes his way all the way to the front to give the thumbs up to every rider. Are you kidding me. We get off at exit 104 Monticello there are spyders every where you look. And more and more on the road waiting to join us. Heading down route 42 what a sight. A Spyder freight train we all were a well oiled machine. But it all came to and end for some of us in Stroudsburg PA. We had lunch with the solders and said our goodbyes and well wishes. Thanks to Andy and Rick and one other spyder rider for joining us on the ride back. A day my wife and I will never forget.

So glad we joined the Spyder family. Thanks to all
Rob and Diane Kelm

You guys did a GREAT job of keeping that pack rolling along!
Thanks!
We met you all, just as you were trying to "escape" from Monticello...
(The last Cognac RT Limited in the line... :D)

It truly was incredible

Rob, it was great meeting you and your lovely wife. I really wished we had video of that NYS Trooper and the line of Spyders as we worked our way down 42..like a mechanical snake!
We absolutely have to do that ride, from Perkins to Pub 570 again..Dave (Pineywoods36 ) wants to as well..
and anyone else who wants to as well!
Thanks for the conversation and the experience.
PS..I was exhausted when I got home Sunday, lol!

Super to meet you Andy. Red lights and Stop signs were definitely optional on this trip.

Truly an honor to ride with these folks.

Like to say sorry to Bob Denman and his crew. We saw you on the side of the road and I wanted to let you merge but we were in the zone if you know what I mean.

Dave (Pineywoods36) great time talking with you and your wife. Will meet up again.

Andy (Vader) I will do the ride again with all the other riders in the fall should be beautiful.

When I got home last night from work I looked at my wife and we just busted out with laughter remembering the Trouper going by and giving us the thumbs up at 82 MPH what a weekend.

We did have a few knuckleheads..not sure what their issue was..I mean, there were over 30 riders at times. And 99.9% of the cars let us go..then there were those who just didn't get it.
All in all..we were well received and given the right of way.
