• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

true dual Exhaust on RT-S

QNSPYDER

RT-S PE#0511
Hello has anyone tried to do true dual exhaust and take that catalytic converter out yet on there RT. Or even just take the cat out and do a good exhaust. We are going to be get are RT-S this week or next would like to know what are options are.

Thank you for any help you can give

I do see on my RS it has only one O2 sensor if I did true dual how could I make it two O2's.
Not unless you find a way to make the ECM read them both, and control each cylinder separately. Virtually impossible with a single throttle body.

I thought so

Just try to do away with the cat and a good exhaust plus HI Performance air cleaner setup then.
What is the best tuner for a can-am or is there even one out there or can or well the dealer tune it with something like that

I don't want to be a wet blanket, but be careful what you wish for. BRP went to great lengths to reduce the horsepower on the RT and raise the torque, possibly also widening the torque band. The performance modifications you mention usually go in the opposite direction. With the heavier, wider RT, you may not like the results.

Right now the only system even showing it will be made for an RT is the one from Two Bros but it leaves the CAT in place.

Boy, it sure would look a whole lot better from the back with a nice looking dual exhaust. I just dont like the look of the one big can on one side.
