• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

TricLED bumpskid LED kit; where to find harness connector?

The connection wire on this is only 24", which isn't long enough to bring it up to the harness connector for the running light at the headlight. Before I cut off the harness adapter and just use splice connectors, does anyone know where there might be a 12v line (switched) with a 2-prong harness plug close enough to the bump skid I could use it as intended? Thanks.

Pete, Can it be that TricLED screwed up that badly, or am I missing something essential? Have you contacted them to discuss your problem?

That harness is ment to plug into the connector on the a arm that feeds your fender lights.
Easy peasy it's a switched circuit.
Hope that helps you, Gary

Hi Gary, yes it does. Now I just have to find that connector. Probably in toward the engine?

Under the A Arm about 6 inches from the fender on the bottom of the plastic covers for the A ARM

That's where you will find those connectors

MAy have to cut a wire tie or two to get at the connector easier

Thanks. That's great info. I'm surprised TricLED didn't mention that in their D-I-Y instructions.
