• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

tri axis handle bars

Had mine put on today. What a big change in steering and the way I sit now. Now I have to find a way to put my Garmin back on.

They're great!

I've had my tri axis handlebars on a few months now on our 2014 RT Limited. No more neck and upper back pain ! :D They made a difference for me and I'm glad I installed them. Took 2 of us about 5 hours, but got the job done!

You need to buy a "special" tri axis bracket for your garmin....it's a lot of money for a small part - ugh! Too bad they could not figure out how you could use of the original bracket!

Congrats on getting those tri axis handlebars....you will love 'em!

I too have installed these bars and love them...

I put my GPS on the JT's Machine Shop/Spyder accessories mount, JT is a sponsor on SL home page, take a look...Now you can look at your GPS without taking your eyes off the road...A simple mount that most anyone can install if you can use a screwdriver...

I will be doing mine today myself and will video the entire process (except some of the simple panel removals as there are plenty of videos on that.

FYI a key video for installing these is this video.

It gets you to the point of top fairing removal!
After that your on your own installing the handlebars. This is where I will show the details.

Stay tuned and wish me luck doing this job!

if i had a garage i would make it a winter project but i work in a limited space so i would never attempt it

Job is done! Not too bad really just lots of screws :(

Video at 11:00.........

Well maybe not tonight at 11:00 but soon.
Resting up now.

FYI, total time including video taking is about 4 hours. Took 5 1/2 total time with breaks.

That's what I did and also highly recommend it.

Make a bracket of some sort to bolt to the GPS cradle and bolt it to the HB using a 6 mm screw into the mount. I'm on the road but will take a pic and post it sometime. I did to hold my Spot unit.
