• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Transformation is nearly complete...

:2thumbs: Lookin' Good! When are you going to be in Indy? Going to have any free time?

We will be there the first week in June (Memorial Day week). I could probably find a few hours to get away while I'm out there. I'll have to borrow my mom's car. My parents live out in Danville and that's where we're staying. It would be nice to meet up with some other Spyder owners out that way, even if we don't have ours with us.

Shoot me a PM and we can exchange personal info. Maybe we can just meet up at the local Steak-n-Shake for a meet and eat. :)

 Looking good!

Really think the black bags and fenders work well!

Nice and bright for your turns too.

Great job!

Thanks, I am glad I went with black on the fenders. It's not completely done though... I am still waiting on the blue rear fender and I am putting on a new trunk and moving the Corbin backrest. I am leaning towards getting the GIVI V46.

Oh, and if anyone wants to know how I did my fender tip and mudflap lights, let me know. I'd be happy to share. :)

Very Nice!!

You have done a very nice job with your :spyder2:. I would like to know how you set up your lights. Your video, has my mouth watering.:D Please PM me if you have the time or, once here, so everyone can share. Again, job well done.:2thumbs:

I'll get a better write-up once I have a free moment. For now I can give you the jist of what I did.

From the left side front signal I t-tapped a wire onto the gray/pink wire. From the left fender tip light I cut the black wire and attached the tapped wire from the signal to the bulb side of the black wire, therefore replacing the ground on the fender tip light with a signal from the signal light.

On the right side front signal you do the same thing except you t-tap into the black wire on the signal (I tried the white/yellow and it didn't work). You again, cut the black wire on the right fender tip light and attach the tapped wire from that side to the bulb side of the black wire.

As for the mudflap lights, you just t-tap into the orange wire and the black wire on the bulb side of the fender tip light and run the positive wire from the orange to the positive side of the new light and the negative wire from the black to the negative side of the new light. I purchased the lights off eBay. They come in red and amber.

great video! sharp bike

Thanks.

I am also planning on adding a GIVI V46 tech (clear lens) trunk with a gloss black lid (as soon as I have the funds). I am just not happy with the trunk I have now and the Corbin trunk is too expensive, won't work for what I need it for, and would look stupid with with armrests because it sits too low... IMO.

Got the rear fender last night. I still need to get a new trunk, however I'll snap some shots this weekend and get them on here.

The trunk will be a GIVI V46 with clear lenses and a gloss black lid.

I also think eventually I'll get the black rear wheel.

Thanks. I pride myself on my photography. :)

I wish the sun glare wasn't so noticeable.

Anyway, I am just waiting on getting the GIVI V46 with the clear lenses installed and then it's done for now.

Now I have to go out into the garage and work on my buddy's Spyder. :2thumbs:

:2thumbs: :congrats:  :2thumbs:

Very nice to see your plan finally come together. Very nice pictures of a very unique Spyder.

Nice touches Katelyn, when even the kill switch and the color in the grips matches the spyder. Great attention to detail
