• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

trailer wiring

I am about to order the BRP trailer hitch for my RTS but have one question that I am not sure of. I have a trailer that has a 4 prong hookup and I want to make sure the wiring harness that comes with the hitch has a 4 prong hookup also. I understand that the BRP manufactured trailer has a 5 prong plug. I just want to make sure that the wiring harness will fit a trailer other then BRP's. When looking at the wiring harness on the BRP website it appears that you have an option of 2 different connections.

Thanks
Larry

When I got my 2013 hitch it came with a 4 wire square plug. You have the option of keeping the square plug on it and making an adapter to go to four wire flat, or just do like I did and change the square plug to a flat so it matches the majority of trailers.

adapter plug (4 square to 4 flat)

We have a BPR hitch and a trailer built by Mini Trailer USA. We contacted Ricky about the adapter. They are now making the adapter plug (4 square to 4 flat). Cost I believe to be between $20 to $30, but check with Ricky.

Our adapter is on its way...
