• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

HI to all dose anyone know what wires to hook up a flat 4 connector for a m/c trailer for spyder typcial white yellow brown green i pulled off the under rear cover and saw the turns are not in line with rear running lamps so not wanting to mess up i would ask people that already have trailers on there spyders or is there a wiring harnes that i can buy to just plug in thanks for your help :dontknow:

I used a hoppy converter. I never can remember which one I used though. If you do a search, I know I posted it up on here somewhere. It took me like 10 minutes to wire it all up.

Good luck.

I'm sure there are those who know plenty more than I, but I'm thinking you'll need more than 4 wires. You'll need at least the following:

Ground
Running Lights
Left Signal
Right Signal
Brake Lights

On another post concerning the RT & the RT-622 trailer, someone was wanting to create an adapter harness to allow the RT-622 trailer to be pulled behind another bike. Someone stated that there are separate left & right brake lights, which I found to be interesting. It might be that the brake lights and signals are the same, so that might explain it. If that is the case on the RS, then you might do with no brake light wire.

I know I haven't answered your questions, but maybe given you something to think about. :dontknow:

The hoppy converter will connect to the five separate wires and convert it to a 4 wire connection.

Check out this thread for more info:

And regardless what some say, the hoppy converter WILL work on the Spyder GS/RS. I don't know about the RT.

I just used five wire plugs on the Spyder and the trailer. (There are not two brake light circuits.) Enjoy pulling your trailer
