• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Trailer Ramps

Ok I have a 2012 RTS and have looked and looked for a ramp that I can use to put my spyder up on my 8x16 trailer, because it doesn't have a ramp built on it. Not sure if this is where this goes. But thanks for your help in advanced.
Thanks
Jason

There is a one piece aluminum ramp which folds

It is also used for mowers

Harborfrieght maybe

Or Norton
Cant remember

I guess I'm just going to have to get 3 separate ramps uugghh

A cheaper alternative is to buy three 2x12s and put ramp ends on them. You can buy these at Northern Tools or Autozone, etc. These basically are aluminum ends that go on the board end to provide a flat foot and ramp transition. They are sold in sets of two usually so you will even have an extra but these kits are a whole lot less expensive.

TRY THIS

IMHO think about this .....first determine EXACTLY how SHORT the ramps can be .....Then have your own made. Find a commercial metal dealer, (every decent size city has one). If this interests you PM me for more details ......I think I spent less than $100 for all three 10 footer's.......Mike

Here's a 54" wide maybe you could buy some large aluminum angleiron and bolt it to widen it out just a touch. My bike is 57 1/2" wide: http://www.ebay.com/itm/77-x-54-Sol...754-/291441892151?hash=item43db4a5b37&vxp=mtr
Here's one that specifically mentions the spyder: http://www.discountramps.com/big-boy-trike-ramp/p/MF3-AMR/

If you decide you're going to have them custom built, might as well attach it to the rear of the trailer

Yeah I think that's going to be my best bet.

Those are nice but for that price, Id just get 2 sets of ramps at costco, and length doesn't matter as much if you place your truck or trailer on an incline like a drainage ditch to load and unload.

ramps

I used 3 pcs 2x10 x 8 ft, to load on the toy hauler deck. Had a problem once in northern Ontario, and that caused some ouch. Have used a couple times since then but really like the utility trailer with rear ramp, the incline is perfect and more than wide enough, Now since sold the trailer and have a truck camper all is BLISSFULL.
