My wifes trailer module was replaced only second time we used it last Jan. , now on the way home 2 days ago the left blinkers quit working , checked correct terminal and it is dead, checked trailer on my Venture with adapter harness we made last year ,trailer is fine. Called our dealer[2 1/2hrs. away ] and after 2 days of calls and faxes ti BRP they said they will warranty the module for 2 yrs. since bought from start with the bike, just hope this not an omen for these modules because my wife uses her trailer all the time, after warranty it would get wired like all the rest of our bikes have been wired.

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Sorry to hear that. If you have added no lights to the trailer (unlikely), it is a bad omen. I really wish that BRP had not used a module integral with the trailer connector. It would also be nice if they at least listed the harness separately. Having to purchase the entire trailer hitch when the module fails is absolutely insane. If worse comes to worse, the Deutsch connectors are available, as are powered trailer modules, so something could be cobbed together after the warranty runs out.

No added anything, I agree if this fails out of warranty I would either wire direct to the subharness or use those leads and go to a proven Goldwing module and round 6 prong plug like on my other trailers, I dont think either would be a problem, my wife is gone now getting groceries with her bike and trailer, we have to get an appointment to have fixed, dealer a 100mi. away, there is a dealer 45min. from us , nice tractor people, feel like this bike too high tech for tractor dealership.

Our trailer module was replaced under warranty I believe only because it was all part of original purchace, our dealer had to fax paperwork showing purchace date and that it was originally bought when the bike was bought,to my understanding if bought when getting bike they were going to warranty for the two years , I believe if bought seperatley will only be warrantied as an accessory! I surely do not agree with this since this is my wifes second in a year and 2 months and is expensive, hope this one lasts !!
