There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wow, that's great, nice to see someone come up with a product that lets you buy a "base" model and pull a trailer.
Will be interested to see if they will need to retrofit for a tensioning bolt to snug up the hitch to eliminate up and down movement.
Can't imagine a one piece unit like that made snug enough to fit on the swing arm how you would ever get it over the axle bolt and not have any up and down play.

Not sure what you mean by "base" model but I think you are a "bit wet behind the ears" (that means a lack of knowledge about what you are talking about)...

I understood that he was talking about.... a base model F3 or F3S... which have the round swing arm instead of the square one of the F3T.
It's hard to tell from the photos just how this attaches , but it looks like one bolt on each side that could rotate up or down?

F3 and F3 S are not base models they are what they are sport models not designed to pull trailers. But having said that you can bolt on a trailer hitch and pull a trailer . The safety items are just not programmed for the extra weight.
The F3T and F3 Limited both have RT like swing arms and are designed to pull a trailer like an RT.

This is one add-on that I'm really proud of. It took me about an hour to install. Can-Am Spyder Accessories.com did an excellent job in producing this hitch for the F3s. My 2017 Freedom Trailer will be here in February.

Considering the F3 is now the 'lowest' model of Spyder one can buy since the RS and ST are discontinued, they actually could be considered a 'base' model..... and certainly are that within the F3 series itself.
I had a hitch on my 2008 GS and my 2012 RT but didn't use them much. I won't be adding one to my F3.

Since the F3t, F3l, and F3p are all 2016 models I'm not sure how they got into the mix of me installing a hitch on my 15' F3s but oh well. As to "base" $22k plus an additional $9k in options, additions and anything else... I will keep it!

I have a 2015 F3S E6, and ordered a hitch made for this bike off of Ebay. I ordered it from a company in Canada, Traileretc, for $249.00. Traileretch hitch is similar to one shown below, with one major difference. The Traileretch hitch uses the Spyder axle to attach the hitch along with four (4) bolts. The side plate stays attached to the axle and frame but the hitch can be removed without disturbing the axle.
THE BIG QUESTION???? Will the Traileretch or the Can-Am Accessories hitch cause Bombardier (BRP) to cancel or not honor my warranty, including my extended warranty?
Their Owners Manual says it will. Any thoughts on this, any way around this?
