Trailer HItch Recommendation for RS?

A friend just bought herself a new 14 RS and now she wants to buy a trailer. She found a nice non-BRP trailer near her but she will need a hitch. Those of you who pull a trailer with an RS what did you do for a hitch? Bushtec?

I am pleased with it so far.

I think a custom wiring harness will need to be made. But I think there are universal kits available to get started. Just get the right kit to start with for the trailer she is going to get. 5 wire for amber turn signals on the trailer. 4 wire if combined red brake/turn.

trailer hitch for RS

I'll chime in with Billy and Mike; this is the one I have used. It's as solid (if not ) more so than the BRP hitch and if you make your own wiring harness for the bike ~ 50 % of the cost of the "factory" hitch.

If she can hold out on a decision till you and Joe arrive later this month then you can look @ my hitch up close and personal!!!!
