Trailer help

We just got a trailer for our RT-S. My question is the trailer has 5 wires turn signals (left and right), brake lights, running lights and a ground. How do I convert to 4 wires for the factory wiring harness?

If you got it new, ask the seller

If your trailer is a true 5 wire. That means it has amber turn signals. The easy solution would be to make an adapter.

Get a converter https://www.amazon.com/Tekonsha-118...18158+Taillight+Converter+with+2+Wire+Systems

4 pole connecter to the Spyder https://www.amazon.com/Hopkins-4797...4539010&sr=1-1&keywords=hopkins+square+4+pole

Then get the connector that matches the trailer and wire them together and done.

Pigtail

went to the auto parts supplier he was willing to sell to retail customers purchased 0ne 6 prong pigtail and one 4 prong pigtail soldered them together at the kitchen table then heat shrink wrap cut off the extra two wires toss in the can plug in in and off we go.
