• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Trailer for 2013 SPYDER RT LIMITED

I honestly do not know why not!
But I am no expert on the trailer setup like allowed tongue weight etc.
Also as I understand from other posts I have read, the light wiring can be difficult.
But I have seen all kinds of posts here about people using other trailers other than BRP. So it can be done.
I think you should do some research here and searching and try to learn all you can.

There are quite a few trailers that will work within the Spyder limits. I would caution you against any with small wheels, as they tend to chew up bearings pretty quickly. JMHO.

First, I prefer trailers with bigger wheels but, I have towed several trailers many thousands of miles and never lost a wheel bearing or tire. One of my trailers was a foldable Asian special that was purchased new in 1985. A friend currently owns it. I installed bearing buddies when it was new and greased it often. To date, it is still running with the original bearings. No problems.

Replace the 8 inch wheels with 12 inch, the incandescent lights with LED lights, and check the wiring closely for bare wire splices (HF uses ScotchLocks). I've had mine for 2 years, first behind a GS, now an RT. Repack the bearings at least once a year, but that's normal upkeep.
