I found a way to protect the outlet on the Spyder and the trailer harness connector when not connected to the Spyder.
I didn't want the connector cap hanging off of the bottom of the left side bag when riding so I put a key ring on it. I found a medicine bottle cap that fits (press fit) on the trailer side connector and added a ring and connector,
When I take the one off the Spyder I take the one off the harness and connect them and put them in my glove box or back box so I don't lose either or forget to put one on and not the other. They don't get separated and when the trailer is separated the connector is less likely to get dirt and other debri in the connector.
This fulfilled one of those questions probably none of you asked or thought about.:2thumbs:
