• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Traded my '11 RS-S last Friday for a '13 RT-S in Circuit Yellow Metallic. Love it!!

I put 32,800 miles on my 2008 GS, & 31,230 miles on my RS-S. Wonderful Spyders!! Both of them!!
I'll post photos tomorrow of my new RT-S (SE5) when I get to my PC. :)

Many options are on order right now. I'm wondering if I need the Tri Axial Handlebar. I'm 6' 4". I really don't need to get any closer to the bars. But; I thought the adjustability might be nice. I had also originally ordered the Comfort Seat. But; after riding 400 miles since Friday evening, I'm pretty damned comfortable. I don't think I need it now. Plus; my Wife rides with me a lot! And, I really cannot afford to give up a couple of inches of passenger space.

Anyway; more a little later. With over 64,000 miles logged since Sept. 2008, I'm not the high mileage King! But; I have more than a few great Spyder stories to share! And, I do! ;)

Any of you tall riders that have the Tri Axial Handlebar, please share your thoughts, if you would like.

Thanks! Here are a few photos...

Congrats, Greg! I wondered when this would pop up. I was happy with the Pearl White and there you go, posting a pic of that beautiful yellow! Looking good, Greg . . . I expect to see you and the Mrs. on this at the reunion . . . I wish my traveling distance was a bit less . . . I'd ride mine, too . . . but I think over 1,000 miles is a bit more than I am up for, yet! We'll see what the summer brings!

Thank you, Dan, and everyone. The last 2 days have been rainy. It's been patiently waiting for tomorrow! But; when I got home from work on Monday night, I had logged 400 miles on it since last Friday evening when I took delivery.
There has been a lot mentioned about the handling of the 2013 RT model. I have got to say; I am pretty impressed! For the backroad boogey, I set the suspension for the firmest. Not bad! It feels really good! A bigger machine, certainly, than the GS / RS-S. But; you can still have fun on those backroads. Out where I live, we have all the variations, too. Only 5 minutes from 65 mph.. Plus; lots and lots of back country roads.

I am also quite fortunate that Erick (Bullant12) swapped Spyders with me a few weeks back so I could experience his 2013 RT-S with a Baja Ron's Anti Sway Bar for a nice ride! Really tightens up the front end. That's a future mod, I think! We met last summer while out riding 45 miles east of Memphis, out in the country. A great guy, and fantastic advocate of the Spyder!

My Wife loves this Spyder!! She loved the other 2! But; she may run off with this one!!!:yikes:
And, she's just the passenger!
Weather permitting, we will be riding this to the reunion, Dan. No question. Your RT Limited is pretty great looking too!!!

A few little issues that the dealer needs to address when I take it in for the initial service next week. But; I love this RT-S!!
