• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Towing

We tow our 2014 behind a motorhome and it gets pretty dirty. Has anyone used the full cover by BRP for towing? The book says it fits tight enough so that it doesn't beat the crap out of it at highway speeds. It's pricey but would be worth it if it would keep my ride a bit cleaner.
Thanks

greg

We don't tow my wife's Spyder but the BRP full cover does fit tight.
I think there could still be a problem with dirt and and rub marks from the wind.

I would never, ever tow a Spyder with a cover on it.
Dirt washes off, but scratches from the cover flapping around on the windshield and plastic?? Not so easy to fix.

Save yourself a lot of heartache and just wash it. No joke.

Never, ever tow any bike with a loose cover. I don't care how tight it fits, it will still rub the paint. Stop at a car wash to wash it off. Tom :trike:

There you go...!!

and this will continue. If you are towing in an open trailer you could put a deflector on it have it enclosed or trade up. Otherwise it's all been said above..!!

don't cover it, unless you really want a paint job.
options: 1) clean it and 2) get an enclosed trailer.
