• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Tow Dolly

It would work .

I saw a Trike begging towed at Bike Week in Fl. I have seen a Smart cars on a tow dolly. The only down side is the rear tire ware.

We pull a car 4-wheels down. I'd LOVE to figure out a practical way to take the Spyder along as well. Putting it on a lift between the MH and the car would make for for a very long rig - not to mention the cost of such a lift.

There ARE other options... :D

I have a "Drop Tail" trailer for use in hauling the Spyder. It will fold to about 5 ft tall and 18 inches or so in depth.

Dream set up for people with money(does not includ me). A pick up truck with the factory bed off and a flat bed installed, towed behind a motor home. Spyder on the flat bed.

tow dolly

Thank's I wasn't really concerned about pulling the Spyder because over the years if towed several cars. But I was concerned about the transmission. I didn't know if the trans was fully disengaged when it was in neutral. So by your answers it appears it's not so I guess I will check on renting a trailer when I need one. Thank's again for your help.

You might consider backing the spyder on the dolly, that would take the drive wheel off the road and eliminate the transmission question.

The biggest problem would be clearance as you back on or pull off the tow dolly.

Rampage Motorcycle Lift

I just installed the rampage lift in the back of my Ford F-250. I already had it set up to load my Can Am Commander in the rear. We tow this behind our motorhome when traveling. This was not a cheap option either, but the wife said "YOU CAN'T ALWAYS TAKE YOUR TOYS WITH YOU!!" and I said BS, I'LL FIGURE OUT A WAY!! And I did! It all depends on where we're going on what we tow. I also have a Lexus LX-470 that we tow if we just need a vehicle with us.
The rampage Lift really works great. Easy and fast to load or unload. I'm working the the guy that builds these and will try to figure out a way to use the lift for the Commander also. Right now I use ramps and drive it up into the back of the pickup.
