• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

TOURING AT IT'S BEST

I have now logged on 520 miles in less than 2 weeks. I am doing this so that I can get my 600 mile service and then do some longer trips. My service will be wednesday morning at "EAST COAST CYCLE CENTER" Bensalem, Pa. I have been there 4 or 5 times in the past week and enjoy myself every time I go. The staff is very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I look at all the accessories that they have for the Can-Am Spyder and the touring model, which I have. They can also order any part directly from Can-Am if you desire something they don't happen to have in stock. I should be the S.Jersey represenative of their company. More and more people stop me all the time to ask questions about something they have never seen before. Everyone loves the Spyder RTS/SE5 semi-automatic touring machine I have. Many have said they haven't ridden a cycle in 20 or more years, and their wife wants to ride with them, but the women won't ride on a standard 2 wheel motorcycle. They are scared of falling off or that the cycle won't hold the road. The Can-Am eliminates those problems and that is why they are becoming sooooo popular. They fill a need between the 2 wheel motorcycle and the trike conversion kits. You don't have to lean all over the place with the Spyder, but you must lean on the trikes and motorcycles. It is a pleasure not to have to put your feet down every time you come to a stop. Also, the semi-automatic shift is a pleasure to use. There is no clutch to play with. Just a small lever on the left side of the handlebars which you operate with your thumb and forefinger (the forefinger is for down shifting). It also has an electrically operated parking break and a reverse gear for backing up on downgrades and parking places where you can't drive forward. In addition, it has a great stereo radio with 4 speakers and an option in the rear trunk for an ipod or mp3. The windshield is electric and can be varied enough for anyone, no matter how short or tall you are. Storage space is abundant. Front storage, side storage (2) and rear top trunk storage. Heated handgrips driver and passenger plus cruise control. Gauges are plentiful. There are digital and analog gauges. The gas tank is 6.6 gallons. The engine is 100 hp and redline is 9,000 on the tachometer. When I am cruising around 60 mph, I am at 4,500 rpm in 5th gear. I love the Spyder and I love going to "East Coast Cycle Center" for all my parts and service and also to chew the rag with all the other Can-Am owners from Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Thanks to Aaron,Alan and Walt, my buying experience has been wonderful.
