• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I wonder what the shop manual lists as time to do this? This guy is good I want to go to his shop....

Don't know..!!

that the shop manual has a time for full body panel removal. Most anything you do requires you to remove at least half..!! :roflblack: but when you have done it a few times you get pretty quick.

This guy is Shawn at Procaliber in Longview, WA. I ride my bike over 60 miles when there is another dealer 15 miles from me - just to have Shawn do my work. Shawn & Procaliber are absolutely first class and most riders from the area surrounding the shop also use them!!

I had to remove some panels yesterday which was the first time to change the oil.
I looked at the OM and was scratching my head.

Thankfully there was a video posted here which made it so easy!

:agree:
Is there a way to rip a copy of that from here, and download it to my 'puter?
(Windows 7 Pro system...)

This really seems like a SUPER handy reference guide to diving under the Tupperware!

Tupperware removal video - great

Thanks for sharing. I have removed my panels, but not the "frunk" area. Great video with a competent mechanic/Tech. Seems like a lot of work just to change oil (which I just completed last week as I have now about 4300 miles on my new spyder). I think the most frustrating thing for new owners is the way the mirror are mounted. I wish they would have just used screws instead on the metal clips that continue to bend a little each time you remove them.

Happy ridin' and be safe! :spyder2::2thumbs:

while I'm on a mac, and I would assume you are on a PC....

right click on the video in his post and you should be able to do it

So easy! Now how do check whether I hooked up my BRP Bluetooth dongle right? Not getting any music out even when I set the external speakers off. Anybody?:banghead::confused::o

SpyderAnnes significant other Joe helped me outside of the Wheels Through Time museum in MV but hed never done one before and now ive got both Sena headsets as well I figure it oughta work. Last year I had the phone Bluetooth lead put in at my dealer and after they said I needed the entertainment harness they said I also needed the BRP comm system. So the BRP guy at MV cut me a break on their dongle. Guess that means I can remove that lead now as I shouldn't need it. But which is it?

but can you tell from my pics if I hooked up the dongle wires right?

That installer is only used for downloads and if something stops downloading it will restart when you download again. It is very convenient and better than toolbars. Plus you can uninstall it if you don't want it later.

If you look at the bottom of the page there are several other Youtube convertors pick your choice.
