• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

torque wrenchs for Spyder work

groundeffect

Hey there guys.

There is a couple torque wrenches as sale at the local shop and I was thinking of picking two of them up.

For work on the Spyder, which ranges of torque wrenches is required/recommended? front-to foot/lb from-to inch/lb

Any suggestions?

thanks
Dean

I tighten until it 'feels right'.......:doorag:[/QUOTE
:agree:
That's how i tighten most things. Except the lug nuts on my truck' those i tighten till they squeak! I think I've only used a torque wrench a dozen times in my life and two of them were on the Spyder. That's probably why I've stripped a few nuts in my life.:yikes: But in my defence Ive never lost a nut once Ive tighten it un stripped.:D
