Toolkit for 2012?

Based upon the manual, I should have a toolkit with my '12 RT-S? I looked under the new seat as well as the old stock seat and nada. I assume that the dealer probably takes these out for storage to keep people from pilfering it on demo rides (like the luggage), however, it doesn't seem like I got mine :dontknow:

It should be literally attached to the seat bottom, correct? I wanted to make sure that maybe this wasn't something only our Limited friends received along with that fancy luggage

Yes, they are attached under the seat bottom. Did you change the seat or did the dealer? They may have removed it then.

Dealer did. I only wish I had that talent lol I'll phone them up and swing by after work to pick it up.

if you really looked at how easy it is to remove and change the seat.......you would be surprised........you should try to do some of the work on your bike yourself....you would save yourself a lot of heartache!!!! and $$$$$$$$$

Well we jut got it Baby steps! I don't want a paperweight sitting in the garage because of my lack of skilly. I've got some mods lined up I'm going to give a whirl at. :thumbup:

totally understand.....I just got mine......and I am very slowly starting to do stuff to it.....I would encourage you to get the service manual.....you can find it on ebay.....just do a search once you get on ebay........it is in digital form.......very useful!! ask questions here and someone will chime in!!!!

Found it. Took a flashlight out to the garage. Our crappy garage light wasn't quite good enough to see the kit. Once we got some real light up under the seat all was well. Thanks!
