Sadly passed away, December '23.
I took myself on a little 4 hour, 127 mile road trip today through Odessa and Moses Lake WA today. It was a hot day and as you can see I was not trying to set a new Ryker land speed record. Just enjoying the wind in my face.
I did discover one drawback to a wind shield on my bike. As you can see I live in basically a rural farming community. Farmers use huge water sprinklers to water their fields. On a hot day like today, some times the wind pushes the water spray out to the edge of the road. It's great to ride through the spray, but the windshield grabs most of the cooling effect. Only a split second of spray actually hits me.
