• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Tombstone Ride

Arrived here in Tucson for the winter, Saturday afternoon. Got the Spyder off loaded from my trailer that evening, and was informed by my brother that the Helldorado Days was in progress down in Tombstone. So Sunday morning, he and I headed out on the back roads, for our 100 mile trip to Tombstone.
Temperature was 72 degrees when we left town and 78 when we arrived. Seen two Spyders parked at a wine tasting farm as we passed. :lecturef_smilie::joke:
I have to tell you, I had a great time spending some quality time with my brother, that I only see for a couple weeks a year. We walked the the streets of Tombstone for approx. three hrs, watching the parade, and the gun-fights, the OK Corral, and of course, visiting the local saloons. It seemed like all the locals from there, and the surrounding area, wait for this time every year, so they can dress up in western garb. The women there wear beautiful dresses from that time period and the men really have some immagination in what they wear. We seen everything from cowboys, trappers, horse thieves, medicine men, indians, stage coach robbers, dance hall girls, etc......
If you ever get the chance to visit Tombstone, try to visit during their Helldorado Days week-end, and you won't be disappointed. http://www.tombstoneweb.com/events.html
On our way back to Tucson, the temp was 85 degrees and we had to pass thru a Boarder Patrol check point, :clap:passed a Red RT with two up, in the opposite direction, and as we rounded a curve in the road, there was a bull, cow and two calves walking down the shoulder of the road. :yikes:Now I know what they mean by open range. Oh, and one road runner.
Wanted to post this sooner, but just got my internet hooked up today, so now I can catch up on all I've missed this last week. Ryde safe.
