• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

This morning, I made a run over to the Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond, VA to check the route we'll be taking tomorrow for the interment of a relative there that passed away recently. While there, figured I'd check on the tombstone I had placed several years ago on the unmarked grave of another relative that died from the injuries he sustained during the Civil War. He was the brother of my great-grandfather on my dad’s side of the family. With other closer (family-wise) relatives scattered to the four-winds, no one else seemed to be interested throughout all the years that have passed, and that just didn’t sit right with me.

My 2022 Sport is in front of the Confederate Soldiers Monument Pyramid that is located in that part of the cemetery.

This was the grave marker I’d mentioned above. His brother Aaron Bell Young (also mentioned above) also served. He enlisted as a private but retired as an officer after the conflict. Pardoned by Pres. Andrew Johnson in 1865, he returned to farming near where he was raised in WV. I found his resting place when I was at a bike rally over in that area earlier this year.
