Yup .... Today is the day I button up the Spyder and get ready to ride. New shock installed .. check. New rear tire installed .. check. New rear aux lighting installed/routed .. check. Inner fender/chopped fender installed easy peasy. Now it's time to mount my tire/new side plate mount. Get everything lined up and the axle slides in without much issue. Walk the belt on easily. My first bad moment is mount the caliper to the caliper plate. Lots of ^$*&^ verbiage, and finally, it's on. Before I torque everything up, I give the tire some spins to make sure all is smooth. Nope. I hear some slight clunky noise about every 4/5th rotation. WTH !! Look .. Look .. not seeing anything. Oh well, thinking I need to disassemble for a closer look. First thing, remove my initial PIA caliper. Start loosening the bolts, and the plate falls to the ground. DOH !!! Damn caliper plate must have slid down when I was pushing the axle through. It wasn't mounted to the axle !! Smooth sailing after that. The brake caliper slid on much easier
No harm/no foul
