• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well it's the 23rd when will we know what BRP has for us in 2015? I'm wanting to purchase an RT this week and tomorrow would be great but I'm waiting to see what changes in options and colors for the 15's. If anyone has heard please post it and share where I can take a look. I know if I get the 15 it will be awhile before I take possession of it but for that kind of money I want to be completely satisfied with my purchase.

It's been tough; trying to find the actual time of the announcements.
My advice: keep shifting between here, and BRP's site...
something has GOT to show up!

I think the announcements come late in the day to early evening based on past years.

I just tried some variations on BRP's website address, in an attempt to find something specifically pertaining to the 2015 models... nuthin'! :gaah:

I am guessing we will hear it first on SL--Thanks to Lamonster. The BRP site seems to go "wonky" in these situations.

CALLED

i called my SPYD3R dealer today, and i was told by the manager of the sales dept. that even they are being kept in the dark about a release date/time.... brouchers have not arrived at the dealers either...

all they are showing us is that (yuk), F3.... all i want to know is, will the RS have the 1330/6 speed... i'll buy the 1st one...

Spoke with dealer again today and he said he thought he would get an update in the morning from BRP. I guess we will see!

What has happened to Lamonster? Years past he has always been on top of this event and I believe last year we set a record for members logged in. Lamont hasn't posted anything on the forum for about a week when he added another teaser. Last year there was a time for the release of the new models.

He probably can't say anything until they lift the press embargo...nondisclosure agreements and all that.

Yeah, that's probably where Lamont is today. There's a "dealers only" show in Vermont. My dealer is there putting in his initial order for 2015 machines.

I called Pit Bull this morning to order a Cat Bypass. They never found the time to call me back to take the order. They are super-busy today! I'm guessing they are likely selling inventory at huge discounts to make room for the new models. Parts guy told me at 4:40 PM (when I called them back) that he hasn't been able to take his lunch break yet.

What it the URL for Lamont's Facebook page?

I think you might find that the F3 replaces the RS in the line up. Hence you get your wish to some extent.

All I know is this...

They had better put the 1330 in the ST. Seems like a no brainer to consolidate manufacturing and that is what I want.

As for the F3... I really dig it, but by time you add a touring shield and hard cases on the top and sides, you'll destroy the muscle/naked cruiser look they are pulling off. At least on the GS/RS you complimented the styling with hard bags and it just looked right either way - naked/stock or with bags.

Supposedly the F3 has the electronics and such from the RT, so I wonder if they'll offer cruise control on the F3... IF someone came out with a bag kit that looked like it belonged, and a cool looking shield then maybe... maybe...

If they don't put the 1330 in the ST then I'll just merrily keep riding my GS or head on back to two wheels.
