• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

TODAY'S SHOPPING RANT
i know i do this all the time that i go shopping, but i hate people that block isles so they can look at everything. there should be at least 2 days a week set up for us speed shoppers. the idea of me waiting behind a person that can't drive a shopping cart or that has to stare at something they are going to buy drives me nuts.

Blame the retailer for not leaving enough space for shoppers. I, for one, like to look at what is on the shelves and not have to put up with someone in a big hurry wanting to push me away. If you want to speed shop use the internet.

just go by those carts parked in the middle of the aisle and add a few extra things in their cart :roflblack:

Add in the need to shop from a mobility cart and it gets even a bit more interesting.

I cannot shop parts of the store where I go (Fred Meyers) because they have the aisles so packed with stuff, that a mobility cart will not pass without knocking things over. Bass Pro shops here are the same way. I will be trying Cabela's next time I need similar sporting goods items.

And then there are the people who race by in front of you and stop quickly without thinking about it. I could have an "accident" almost every time I go shopping if I were not extra careful.

I also like to take my time and look stuff over, but have to be extra careful and patient so I am not in the way of others.

please don't get me wrong, i don't begrudge people taking their time, what gets me mad are the people that look in their bags or leave the cart in the middle of a isle and walk away, i never make a list because i only shop for me and my dogs. i get used to a store and most of the time i buy the same stuff so i know what i want and where it is, so i just hit go and and i am off and running.

From Thanksgiving to Easter, we go shopping at a time during or after the early bird specials for dinner. That way all the people from up north that block the aisles are somewhere else stuffing doggy bags at the all you eat buffet.

Walmart though, that place is a freak show regardless of the day or hour. Sort of like the sign should read circus sideshow. There are some wackjobs that go there, talking to boxes, trying to catch a glimpse of the girls, and people always fighting and yelling super loud.

PK

The Walmart by my son's house is extra crazy
We always say that we should take lawn chairs and a cooler of beer and sit out front
It's a free comedy show :yikes::roflblack:

I don't shop

I buy

Now my wife shops..by herself..I'm not one of those husbands that tags along for company..

It took me till I was 53 to get married, so go figure..67 soon

It's a free comedy show

You folks have come up with something I had not thought about previous.

I am getting the vibe that I don't have to go to Vegas to "people watch" any more. Just go to WalMart. Now, that would be not only convenient, but would save me a pile of money also. :roflblack::roflblack:

You want wack job, i had a customer who had me go outside when it was cold to talk to his car to ask what was wrong.
Yes i did go outside & i asked his car 3 times with the drivers door open & the car did not answer me, but the crazy part
was when he tells me 'yes' when i asked him when he drives to know what is wrong he sits on the front fender.
Anyone want to top that for wackjob of the year.
P.S. this was 2 weeks ago & he is disputing his wheel repair charges with amex, but fortunately i have 2 customers who were
witnesses to his craziness.
