• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

....for bug splatter and pollen here in Upstate New York/Adirondacks. This stuff sticks pretty good to the Tupperware on my Pearl White F3T. :gaah:

So what do you guys use to remove it? I've been using Plexus with mixed results.....

Thanks!

Lamonster's Black Dymond Detailer, and it helps keep bugs off, or at least make them clean off easier each subsequent time.

I use simple green. Spray it on my bike parts, let it set for about 15-20 minutes, warm soapy water and soft sponge. The simple green seems to soften up the baked on splattered bugs.

Hot soapy water works great. Lay the hot rag over the windshield until the bugs soften up.

I use a paper towel, get it wet, use nothing but water, lay it on the bugs for about 5 -10 min. then take it off. Use a soft cloth to was and they come right off. DO NOT try to clean or rub with the paper towel, you will scratch the plastic. Just use it to hold the moisture on it.

I had a few cans of Honda aerosol detailer that worked great on our Wing (plastic body panels), worked great on the Spyder too. Did get a can of Lamonsters detailer, but haven't used it yet. Mac:doorag:

bugs

I have used "Bugs B Gone" for years on all my bikes with really good results....even in Maine with the black flies.

On our way back from Spyderfest, we hit a lot of bugs.....use Lamonster detailer , sprayed it on,waited about 30 seconds, and the bugs came right off....works like a charm.....and makes the Spyder look good too:yes: Like keeping Serenity happy.:spyder: :2thumbs:
