• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Tire question!

Ah Ha!! Yes, I can see it above & in the OP now!! So what was it you figured out?? What had you done/not done that it didn't show, & what did you do to get it to show??

Yeah, it's there now. That happens when you upload a picture as an "attachment" then, for various reasons, the attachment doesn't get linked to the message. Never happens when you insert a picture from a URL.

PS... It was worth waiting for. ;)

Sorry I was not wearing my aluminm foil hat and did not understand how much you read into these things. I'll wait and see how accurate the info is that a major motorcycle tire manufacturer will be releasing Spyder tires soon.
Paul, I thought you were joking when you posted that message, which is why I responded with a :D.

Even if BRP does find another tire vendor, chances are great that the tire would be way overpriced and not as good as what you can find elsewhere in the market. There are already lots of good choices out there that are proper tires for the Spyder rims, and offer better handling qualities - "official" or not. The fact that not all dealers will install them, for some silly reason, is the real problem. :sour:

Exactly! The forum I run does not have this issue.
It's because SL is on a very old version of Vbulletin....

I've noticed that the attachment management module of the form software is a little buggy. It won't affect most folks, as most users never use that tool. The reason you continued to see the picture, when others could not, is because the picture "attachment link" was already in your browser cache. You probably know that the way to check that is to refresh the page while holding the shift key down (at least in Windows).
