• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I bought the one from Spyderstore (CnC Machines) and it works well on the Spyder. It is a timesaver and for that reason I like having it.. However, I have been disppointed that it doesn't seem to work on any of my cars. I don't understand why because the stems look the same but for some reason the connectors don't make a connection with the cars' valve stems.
 
I made my own from from bit from Amazon and Aliexpress. Mine has clip on Tyre chucks but they are a nuisance so have ordered 2 screw on chucks. I made sure the hoses were long enough to do the car too.
 
I bought one of these for my Spyder. It clips onto the stem VERY easily and doesn't allow any release of the air inside. I keep it in the Frunk.

I use FOBO Bike 2 on all 4 fittings and works great to monitor pressures.
 
That product is an interesting idea - but is it really necessary?

Just curious - How high a difference in PSI between your two fronts do you tolerate before evening out the 2 tires? I know that perfectly equal is ideal, but who often are they perfectly equal? So how close is good enough for you?
 
Ideally, I like them both even. But after a day in the garage the pressures differ by up to 1.5 lbs anyway, due to the proximity of the bike being nearer one hot wall.

Therefore, buying an equalizer is probably a waste of money. I'll buy Frappuccinos for 2 for at least a week instead :2thumbs:

I just use a portable air tank with the tank pressure about 20-25 psi to balance them out about once a month, about how often I wash the bike. I don't need to, but thats what I do
 
I also made my own and don't really see an advantage over a good gage. By the time ya hook it all up and dink around, you can easily just inflate one tire or the other to get them equal. I posted a thread about making my own a couple years back....got beat up for posting it because another member was making and selling them. I made one that did the same thing for far less so I got pumbled here.....LOL.....No big deal...Easy enough to make, but honestly not worth the fooling around. Feel free to search for the post......I think it was titled "Made my own dual fill" or something like that....

I like the digital readout cuz my eyes don't always focus close enough to read an analog face that closely. It's real easy to slightly over the tire then let out air down to the desired psi. I had the tire shop overfill them with Nitrogen then went riding to get the feel of 20 psi and then dropped 1 psi, ride, drop, ride until I got to 17.5 psi and that's where they've stayed for the last 3 months.
