• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

In from airport at 3am, then a workday. Couldn't let the new spyder sit though, so I popped on the Baja Ron sway bar. First time I'd touched the spyder other than to ryde it home so I guess an hour for the sway bar wasn't bad.

Props to finless for the video, made it way easier.

Checked tire pressures afterwards, 10 in one front, 11 in the other, and 12 in the rear. Guess that's what happens when a :spyder2: sits for a year.

Still have a missing belt guard to install and the tricled mirror leds. That'll wait for the weekend. Can't have all my fun at once.

Your welcome! Glad I could help. I hope the sway bar works well for you. It did for me.

 You're off to a GREAT star! :congrats:[/QUO

Bob,

What do you have to do to earn that Star:dontknow:
Dunno but I want a second one!! I did my Tricleds mirror winkers and missing belt guard today....and that was after an 8 hour round trip to deliver my Concours to it's new owner. :)

I give 3 thumbs up to the missing belt guard instructions and kit. It was also VERY thoughtful of them to include the kept fasteners to replace the nuts on the factory guard. Factory should have done that. PITA to get to, would have been more pita with MBG in place.

Only 1 thumb for Tricleds. The instructions needed more detail (does the led strip go on glass or housing? Can't tell in picture, and text doesn't say). Drilling holes needs a punch to start in the right place (I knew this, but many folks won't). Wire colors on bike don't match the instructions, but it was only a moments checking with the meter to resolve. HATE the vampire taps. Used them for now just to make sure everything worked, but I'm going to take them off and do soldered connections, then heatshrink insulation.

Tomorrow I'll be wiring in the battery tender and heated jacket leads. Then it waits for a bit for more toys to show up. I'm slowly collecting 'S' trim so if anyone has anyone for sale, lemme know. So far I have the chrome saddlebag accents ordered.

Adding to my own thread, or talking to myself. Committed the cardinal sin of loosening negative jumper connection since it sure looked like a great place for a tender ground. :banghead:

Then got on here, read about my mistake, couldn't figure out the bent wrench and went to the nice case of new fasteners and put a bolt to match the threads directly in. Whenever I have to remove the tupperware I'll redo it, but for now it's happy.
