• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Finally done with my winter to-do list for my spyder and now time to share. Powdercoated exhaust, handlebar plate, all wheels, foot pegs. And made my plate legal again with one an LED bolt mounted center right under the tail, stitched seat skin, caliper trim kit and ultrasport windshield. AND, Arntufun, there is no spray paint on it! :roflblack::roflblack:

Just remember who did that first !!! :doorag: Now you have to peel that Can Am decal off the sides and we will almost be twins. I kind of like the no front fender look. It Looks great.:thumbup:

Without fenders you might want to invest in shin guards and a full face helmet. Murphy's law applies.

Going to bet you were not the first. Either LOL. I will bet that I am the first with a TBR dual coated. I am different in some ways. I love not having front fenders!

Ohh, and Throttlemeister and Pazzo shorty clutch lever...LOVE IT! Better pic of being fenderless too.

When I went to have my exhaust powder coated, I was told it should be ceramic coated. It was last year and if I remember right I was told the powder coat would start to lift at around 350 deg F. I don't know if that was true or not. In any case it was $10 more; so, no big deal. Do you know the maximum temp. that powder coating is good to? Of course another question is what temps. does the exhaust see?

Looks good.

True, powder coating is a heat-fused coating, and can be applied at temperatures as low as those in a common oven. It will not stand 1,500-1,800 degrees or more. It may last a little longer on a muffler, especially one without a catalytic converter, but it will eventually fail.

The guy that did it said he has done tons and I will not have a problem. The actual pipes he said would not hold up at all. That is where you would need ceramic coating. Gave me a killer deal since I know him really well and I did all the prep myself as far as stripping and sand blasting. As far as temps, I have no idea.

Looks Great & very unique as well - Good job

Is it road legal where you live to not have fenders over the front tires? I have read that in some states its a requirement, but I don't know from personal experience :dontknow:

Also, just a suggestion, a set of GloRyders for your front wheels (in your choice of colors) would add some much needed side visibility for ryde'n in the dark, if thats a concern for you:dontknow:
I know I like ours Very Much, especially since I have to be at work on a daily basis (when i'm actually working that is:shocked:) before the sun rises & it adds an extra layer of needed visibility for all those :cus:cagers that are "sleep driving" :cus::cus:
:2thumbs:As stated, look'n Good:2thumbs:

Well with as much as I wondered about my plate being legal and the fenders, I got pulled over on it 3 days ago and the cop did not say anything about fenders or my plate. He though it was pretty cool especially when he asked for reg and insurance and I had to get it out of the frunk HAHA
