• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Time on market

Any one have a handle on the average time to sell a 2011 RT

You have asked a pretty difficult question. Have seen them come and go pretty fast when they are put on the 4 sale thread here on SL.

The secret is to have it priced right. The buyers here are very discriminating and they know a good deal and a bad deal. Start with book value from a site like KBB.

RE: Accessories--don't plan on getting your money back here. Most accessories are worth zero to 50% on the high end. That is just the way it is.

Mileage and condition are another factor.

If you put it on SL and get 400 looks and no takers or inquiries--you have it priced to high.

Private party sales in your area--depends on the market. I am guessing (did not check blue book), the current value of a 2011 is going to be around $20K since there are 3 years of newer out there and 2015 is on the horizon.

Good luck on your sale.
