• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Time for an oil & filter change - how best to raise my Spyder?

I dont raise mine. no problem with a low wide oil pain.

That's what I use, one pan that catches oil from both drains. Worst part of it though is the lip spout to pour the oil into waste jug leaves a lot to be desired and with 5+qt in it I have to have a careful walk out of the garage where I can pour into the jug.

My pan got a pour nozzle on it. Big funnel in a 5 gallon oil bucket and no problem. I bring the waste oil bucket in right side of the bike. It is a lot easier to carry oil in a 5 gallon bucket with a cap on the pour spout, than it is to carry a half full drain pan.

I have to shop for a better wide pan. I inherited pan and 5 gal disposal container from son when he moved.

Just cut the side out of a 5 quart plastic oil bottle and you got a good, low oil drain pan. You can unscrew the cap for the oil bottle and pour the oil into you used oil container. I been using them for years.
