Hubby, on a 2023 Triumph Tiger GT Pro, and I on my 2017 F3-T are heading for the PA Grand Canyon area for a week. We've done this twice before on different bikes, but always find new places to explore and places to eat. Out tentative itinerary this year is:
Day 1: Ride from home (Erie County, PA) to Camp in Black Forest Area. If you want to to see it on google maps search "Black Forest Inn Lock Haven, PA) This is about 160 miles of riding and our bikes are fully loaded with clothes, food etc.
Day 2: Ride a Loop of 160 miles west of Camp. We'll visit Austin, Wharton, Renevo and Hyner View while riding.
Day 3: Ride a Loop of of 180 miles visiting the Bucktail Overlook and Emporium Overlooks as well as riding along Kettle Creek.
Day 4: Ride to Bloomsburg, PA. Visit Bill's Old Bike Barn and meet friends for dinner. We'll spend the night at a Bed and Breakfast in the area.
Day 5: Take a scenic 200+ mile ride from Bloomsburg back to Camp with stops at several little cemeteries to find the graves of some of my husband's great grandparents.
Day 6: Ride a 120 mile Loop taking in Wellsboro, PA and riding along Pine Creek. This is a repeat ride for us, that we just love, so we're doing it again.
Day 7: Head for home. Depending on our mood, we may take the long way.
Thru out this trip we'll cover PA 44, 144 and 120 multiple times and it is some great twisty riding.
