• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Time for a new Avatar

10/6 arrival??? :yikes:
sounds like in this case anticipation might be pronounced A-G-O-N-Y . . .

I'll be eager to hear your comparisons between the RS & RT
after it arrives and you get a few miles on it . . .

keep us posted

I have a friend in Boise who just purchased an RT A/C - he was kind enough to swap Spyders for a decent back road ryde a few weeks ago - the decision was comfort vs performance.

My RS would eat the RT on any performance measure - acceleration, cornering,
general handling (but I really think the new DPS will actually fix the last one). However, for long distance comfort, and features, the RT had it hands down.

I put the RS up for sale for a fair price, given the farkles and milage, and got full price. However, the price I was quoted for the A/C was more than I wanted to pay, and I backed off. Then Roger's RT S popped up at a price I couldn't refuse…. I'll let you know if I still have the same impressions after 1,000 miles or so in the saddle.

Well, when you change your avatar, they change for every post you have made - well……

She's here, in one piece, and the shipping and arrival was effortless. Getting it registered in Oregon, well that's another tale - did you know there's a $7 fee (required) to check that the VIN matches the title?? But anyway, that's done, tanks, filled after putting 100 miles on her.

Lots of positive comments already, and I'll be taking her down for a custom pin stripe job next weekend - nothing outrageous, just a bit of highlighting…

Picture of her arrival posted below...

:congrats: If HK Powersports when through that machine before they shipped it to you it should be trouble free. I have not had any problems with mine in 10000 miles and they take care of it. Good luck and good riding. :2thumbs:
