• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Throttle surging when in reverse backing up a slight incline ??

I have a 2010 RT with 220 miles on it. When in reverse backing up my driveway (on a slight incline) it seems to surge with a drastic loss of power. It does not happen as bad backing up on a level surface. Any ideas, or suggestions......

That is a Rev Limiter in reverse gear, a safety system on all Spyders. Does make it difficult backing up inclines.
With a little practice you might be able to overcome this just don't exceed the rev limiter usually it is around 2000 rpm plus or minus a couple of hundred.....:gaah:

Try this..!!

back up at idle with just a touch when needed. It is slow but the limiter is set low so it's the best way...
